HPX around the world
HPX holds 36.5% of Cordoba Minerals (TSX-V: CDB) and has the right to earn 65% of the company's projects.
Cordoba's projects, currently the combined San Matias and El Alacrán properties, contain several known areas of mineralization and are ideally located in flat topography, near significant infrastructure, and large scale producing open pit mines.
For more details, see the partnership announcement by Cordoba Minerals.
Located in the Andean cordillera, where Paleocene porphyry mineralization hosts large deposits including Spence (Chile), Cerro Verde (Peru), Tia Maria (Peru), and Cerro Colorado (Chile), the Tinajas project is an exciting prospect.
HPX holds the option to earn up to 65% of the project from Teck Peru and has aggressive exploration plans for 2017.
HPX subsidiary Kaizen Discovery (TSX-V: KZD), with partner ITOCHU, is exploring their Copper-Gold Pinaya project in southeastern Peru. The project covers 192 square kilometres and includes more than 25 kilometres of strike length within the Andahuaylas-Yauri Porphyry Belt in Peru's provinces of Caylloma and Lampa. This belt hosts numerous productive and world-class porphyry and skarn systems, including Las Bambas, Tintaya, Constancia and Haquira.
